These terms govern your use of Details. This is a template — you should have final terms reviewed by counsel.
1. The service
Details provides workflow management, time tracking and invoicing functionality for accounting firms via a hosted web application.
2. Your account
You must provide accurate registration information and are responsible for activity under your account. Do not share credentials.
3. Plans and billing
Plans are billed monthly in advance in GBP. You may cancel at any time; access continues to the end of the current billing period. Free trials convert to a paid plan only if you choose to upgrade — no card is required to trial.
4. Acceptable use
You must not attempt to reverse-engineer the service, use it to infringe third-party rights, or transmit unlawful content.
5. Customer data
You retain all rights to data you upload. We process it as your data processor under the DPA.
6. Availability
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability is limited to fees paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.
8. Termination
Either party may terminate for material breach. On termination you may export your data for 30 days.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of [jurisdiction].
